Jon hailed a cab and gave the driver Beth's address. He was still mulling over his conversation with Richie about Liz being in the hospital. It was so odd for his best friend to not share something like that with him. Even if Lizzie was just mildly ill, if it had been Beth Jon knew he would have still been so worried to leave her home alone like that. He sighed as he watched the streets of London fly by. 

Soon the driver stopped and Jon crawled out grabbing his bags. Paying the driver , he walked in and up to the second floor. 

206, 215, there it is 225! 

He wasn't sure if she was home yet, this was one of her long days . He started to knock when the door flew open . 

Paige opened the door she had to get to work she was late yet again , not paying attention she ran into a brick wall.. "What the hell " She looked up "Oh hey there.. " 

Jon chuckled helping her pick her belongings " Hey I had wanted to run into you but not literally " 

"Sorry about that. Running late for work again " Paige smiled damn, he was hotter than the pics Beth had shown her. No wonder she is so madly in love with him and that smile. She gazed him up and down 

"No big deal. Love running into a beautiful lady " Jon flirtatiously said. 

Paige actually blushed , what the hell she never blushes...... but this guy. 

"Thanks .. Oh Beth should be home anytime she called saying she had to pick up a few things . Just go in and make yourself at home . Taylor and Tessa are gone to our parents for the week and I work nights sooo.. you two can catch up " Paige jeered 

"Thanks for the info .. I believe we will be doing a lot of catching up. " Jon said with an ornery smile. 

Beth had walked up on the two engaged in a playful conversation 

"Hey..... hitting on my husband I see! " Beth teased as she snuck around Paige to reach Jon, dropping all the stuff in her hands to hug him tightly . 

"Oh baby " Jon hugged her back kissing her with small sweet kisses 

" I missed you so much " Beth replied returning each kiss she received . 

Paige stood back suddenly feeling like a 3rd wheel " Well I better be going. You two enjoy yourself" 

"Don't worry we will " Beth wickedly grinned 

"I'm sure.. Oh don't worry about getting interrupted I am staying at Jill's after work" 

"Guess see ya whenever then " Beth smiled almost oblivious to her roommates departure. 

"Yup. See ya . Nice to meet you Jon " She glanced him up and down again and took off down the hall. 

Beth had been oblivious up until that point. But she didn't fail to miss the look her roomie have given her husband before she left. She shrugged it off as the typical females first reaction to her ultra hot hubby. 

Jon noticed Beth's eyes narrow and then he breathed a sigh of relief to see her expression soften. 

Jon gazed over his wife damn he didn't think she could have gotten anymore beautiful but she had this glow about her, his eyes fell on her cute little bump that was now making its presence known through her clothes. 

His baby he grinned to himself. 

He couldn't believe in just the few weeks they had been apart how much her body was changing to accommodate the baby. Before she had left there were only slight changes but now their baby was growing in leaps and bounds it seemed. 

Beth felt the heated gaze of her husband, warming her to the core. She smiled " I think we should get inside before dessert melts ." 

"Dessert?? And what may that be? " Jon inquisitively asked wiggling his eyebrows. 

"Guess you will have to see " Beth teased as she bent down to pick up the bags 

" Easy.. let me get those " Jon backed her up a bit, along with his luggage picked up two bags of groceries as well 

Beth rolled her eyes " I won't break. I'm just pregnant " 

"Bethany I know you won't ... just let me do this ok " Jon retorted 

"A'right come on in no use fighting ya when you got your mind set "Beth replied opening the door "Set them in the kitchen I will put them away while you can put your bags in my room. Its the first door on the left. " 

"Good girl . I will come back and help ya in a minute. " Setting the groceries down he kissed her and off to her room he went.
