Beth turned her head as she listened to two familiar voices talk right outside the hotel store. David was practically shouting "Richie and Liz took off "
"Wonder where they went " Beth muttered to herself Had she been right with her suspicions after all? " Wait til I tell Jon ."She made her purchase in the hotel store and headed back to to their room.
A few minutes later she was walking in the door. “Hey baby , I'm back “
Jon strolled out of the bathroom in a towel , still wet from the shower
“Hey baby , made it back I see. Get whatcha needed? ” He walked up to her snaking his arm around her waist pulling her close .
“Wh..at oh yea” Beth stuttered as she gazed at the nearly naked man before her. Her pulse quickened and her heart raced at the sight of him.
Jon chuckled “ Baby see something you like “ he wiggled his eyebrows
“Always “ she smirked running her hand lightly across his chest then paused remembering what she had wanted to tell him. “You must hear this . '
Jon growled with frustration " Damnt baby why did ya stop for ? "
“I'm sorry we can continue later but you gotta hear this “
“Well what is it that you have to stop doing what you were doing to tell me “he groaned
“Did you know Richie and Lizzie took off”
“They… what?” he looked puzzled
“Yea well I overheard Dave and Tic talking and I am telling you he was more than upset. Just left a note “
“That’s not like them two.. Richie didn't say he was going off somewhere?”
“Well maybe he didn't tell you because . They were ….. you know “
“No I don’t know what … “
Beth rolled her eyes “ Jon think about it. Do I need to spell it out? “
“What? … Oh you don’t think … ?”
“Yea I do .. why else would they take off . “ Beth smirked again
“Well shit … Dave is gonna blow “ he chuckled
“I think he already has “
“ Rich better head for the hills and never look back cause Dave is gonna hunt your ass down “ Jon chuckled as he pulled her down on the bed beside him
"So where you responsible for their sudden disappearance " He said nibbling on her ear.
“Why in the world would you think that ? “ Beth laughed
“I know how your mind works . Miss matchmaker “ Jon grinned
“Well not this time I had nothin' to do with it”
“If you say so “ Jon muttered as he continued his onslaught of her earlobe working his way to her neck.
"I say so . I swear on -- well I swear I had nothing to do with it " Beth insisted as her hands started to roam across his chest , flicking a nipple .
“Damn you girl “ he muttered as he tilted her head back and kissed her until a funny imagine crossed his mind causing him to break away from the heated kiss to laugh.
“My kiss makes you laugh now” she pretended to be hurt.
“No just I am picturing Dave chasing Richie with a shotgun aiming the buckshot at his ass or worse “ He laughed even harder.
Beth joined in his laughter “Well they better get all the sex they can cause he might not have any parts left to do anything with after Dave is done”
“So true babe” He laughed harder.
He preceded to pick up where he left off , his hand sliding down her skirt , lifting it up just a bit until he reached her panties and started to rub nice and slow. But Beth pulled back "OH baby there is something else I wanted to say "
“God Beth you trying to give me blue balls today. What did I do to you to deserve this torture. “
“Sorry honey but I need to tell you this is really important “ She pulled away from his grasp, stood up then walked over to the bag that had her purchase in it.
He fell back and groaned “ After this can we continue please “
“Maybe” she teased
“You are evil you know that pure evil”
She grinned “ I know spank me later for it but this is really important. You know how I've been sick right?
“And horny “ he chimed in
“When ain’t I horny ? Now don’t change the subject . Well I think I might know whats up”
He propped himself on one elbow “ And what is that the flu?”
“Well possibly the nine month kind ” Beth responded trying to Gage his reaction
"Nine month kind ? What type of flu is that ? " Jon asked inquisitively
Beth shook her head "Meaning the pregnant kind "
"Pregnant! " Jon sat straight up "Are you sure
"Not a 100 percent but I got a test to find out " Beth said dangling the bag in front of his face.
"Let's go find out "Jon jumped off the bed ,grabbing her hand and headed to the bathroom.
"Be right out " Beth walked in opened the package then followed the instructions. "Ok now we wait" Beth answered as she opened the door.
"Wait , You know how I suck at waiting " Jon groaned "How long ? "
“5 minutes “
“Ok well that's not too bad then . “ He glanced at his watch then took Beth's hand and walked back towards the bed then sat down.
After just a few moments . Jon grew impatient “God never knew 5 minutes took this long”
“Patience my dear” Beth smiled patting his hand .
“I’m trying but I wanna know now ” He pouted
“We wanna be sure don’t we wait til its done “
Finally after a very nervous 5 minutes they both headed in the bathroom looking at this stick like it might bite them .
“2 lines , Whats that mean ?” Jon asked glancing over her shoulder
“ I don’t know let me read , OK “ Beth picked up the paper and read.
“ It means Daddy .. we have a lot to do in a few months” Beth said searching his face to whether it was a good thing or bad thing.
Jon looked at her with a mixture of awe and shock then smiled
“Really ! Oh baby” he hugged Beth tightly “You will make a beautiful mother “ and kissed her so sweetly .
Beth pulled away a bit “ Are you sure ? Its cool with you ? "
Jon smiled “ Well wasn't expecting it , but baby I love you and nothing would make it better than you carrying my child. Our child made from our love. “
He led her back to the bed gently laid her down ,crawling up next to her holding her tightly resting on hand on her still flat stomach.
Beth was beaming once she was sure he wanted this baby she could get excited about the upcoming event. His child what she always wanted.
She leaned up and kissed him sweetly “ So when do we go and tell everyone?”
“How does Monday sound? I want to celebrate alone with you right now”
“Monday it is then” She smiled and cuddled up drifting off for a nice contented nap.
