The episode in the elevator had been unplanned but a welcome relief to Jon who had this night planned to the last detail. Jon led her over to this table that was set up next to the bed . On it had strawberries and cream, dipable chocolate, and sparkling white grape juice. 

Tears welled up in Beth's eyes to see how much he had done to make this a night that either would forget.
